Shaz by the Sea

We had a fun family weekend! Jim and I finally watched Django Unchained on Friday night, got about 6 inches of snow on Saturday so I cooked a bit, and Sunday we walked around Eastern Market and enjoyed a mimosa and bloody mary while the boys had their lunch. Overall, successful weekend. We went grocery shopping on Friday and put the boys in shopping carts for the first time (at a grocery store). We typically use peapod pickup service for our groceries, so I don't have to go in and push/pull two carts throughout the store. I do, however, often walk over to the store to grab a few items...but never a full order. I am not ready to tackle that alone. Woke up Saturday feelin fantastic! The boys had colds a couple days ago and are now getting over them and feeling themselves. Happy boys = happy mama. They are outgrowing so many of their clothes...most recently their 9 month clothes which makes me so sad....like these Cape Cod sweatshirts, but that's ok. Summer is aro

With Valentine's Day around the corner, I wanted to dedicate this blog post to my husband and partner in crime.  Here's to you JIMBO! I feel in order to appreciate the incredible relationship we have, it is important to remember where we have come -- whether we have gone through monumental life events, trips to Cape Cod or the occasional fun nights out.  We have been through so much since June 2002 and I must say we have also grown so much. The best part about everything is that we have grown so much together .  I did my best to put things in order. Conor and Caden turned 9 months old on Friday!! Here they are 9 months in this world.... And 9 months in my belly (38 weeks)... To celebrate their 9 months, Daddy brought them to see Mommy at work! They were a huge hit. They definitely know how to put a smile on everyone's face...especially on a Friday afternoon. What better way to pass the time than snuggle with two cutie baby boys. We then spent Saturday afternoon at the Chocolate Festival in Fairfax, VA. We ironically found no chocolate because the lines were too long.
